These classes and offerings are inspired by Kristy’s training in Anusara yoga and Restorative Yoga. Created with heart themes, drenched in grace and surrounded by delicious restorative postures.
Anusara (a-nu-sar-a), means “flowing with Grace,” “flowing with Nature,” “following your heart.” “Anusara yoga has an uplifting philosophy, epitomized by a “celebration of the heart” that looks for the good in all people and all things.

Restorative Yoga is a gentle yet powerful practice that asks us to become quiet, listen to our bodies’ needs, and respond with love and nurturance. It is wonderful for all people, and is especially suited for those who are recovering from injury, illness or are feeling run down, depleted or stressed.
About Kristy Vicari RYT
She teaches yoga throughout the East Bay Area and has been a student of yoga for over 13 years. Her training background in yoga is very diverse. She presently teaches a very individualized class based in Anusara Yoga, which weaves together exploration, awareness, opening and alignment of the mind and body. Grace and celebration guide it, with a playful and creative edge and a nurturing guidance. She also teaches therapeutic classes to restore and rejuvenate the being. They leave you relaxed and feeling divine.
Her prenatal and Post Partum classes are incredibly popular, supportive and healing. She teaches these classes with a great focus on celebrating the baby within and the mama’s ever changing body, preparing mama for labor and birth, and discovering ways to stay grounded and relaxed. The postnatal classes include the babies with the mother’s practice to help calm, ground and rejuvenate both mama and baby(s).

Kristy’s teachings have been very powerful when brought into your own home. This honors your time and helps you create sacred space in your home.
Together we work on breathing exercises as well as physical posturing and relaxation techniques. This session is customized for your needs and will leave you feeling renewed!
